не могу заемержить amarok, kdeartwork и пр

emerge amarok

If you did install kdelibs, then the Qt version that is picked up by
this configure is not the same version you used to compile kdelibs.

configuration settings.

Но kdelibs установлены.

equery list kdelibs

И QT вроде бы тоже не обновлял.

emerge -pv qt

А ты rebdep-rebuild не делал перед этим?
