ASUS M2N-VM, ядро 2.6.26 и ALSA

Приветствую
Продолжаются мои мучения с материнкой M2N-VM. Теперь никак не могу завести звуковую карту Audigy 2
При инициализации ALSA ругается на oss_
При /etc/init.d/alsasound restart немертво вешает систему на unload oss_device_чегототам

oss - по хавту алсы делал. Честно, сам не знаю, зачем :)
И еще - в конфиге ядра включается модулем CONFIG_SND_AC97_CODEC=m
Оно надо или нет? В menuconfig вообще что-то этого параметра не нашел

Вообще, с этой материнкой проблемы постоянные - то виснет на udev, mode vga=xxx, черный экран

есть еще

есть еще вариант - в ядре тока поддержку звука включить (ALSA/OSS выглючить), пересобрать, make modules_install, в /etc/make.conf ALSA_CARDS выставить и emerge alsa-driver. потом alsaconf.

не нашла AC97 - то что в ALSA_CARDS прописано. и просто audigy. может двойка? lspci в студию...
